Today, I learnt Korean native numbers from 1 to 30. I’m confused about two things. 5 is written as 다섯 (da-seot), why is there an extra ㅅ when it can be written as 다섵? It’s the same with 여덟 (8), where is there ㅂ at the end when it is pronounced as ‘yeo-deol’. Can someone help pls?
