@eilenejohnson_: Here’s how to do it! - cut 12 coordinating fabric scraps into 2 1/4” x 2 1/4”squares. - cut a piece of lightweight fusible interfacing 6 1/2” x 8 3/4”. This is cut just a skosh smaller so that your iron doesn’t catch extra fusible interfacing and stick. - cut a coordinating rectangle of fabric for the lining 5 3/4” x 8 1/2”. - lay the 12 squares onto the fusible side of the interfacing; 3 across and 4 down. Iron to fuse. - fold seams in one direction and stitch. Snip where seams intersect, careful not to snip past the seam. - turn project and sew seams in the other direction. Where the seams intersect, fold one side up and one side down to “nest” and reduce bulk. Press well. - with right sides together, clip the lining to the front and sew down each side on the short ends. - turn right side out and press, forming a small lining trim on each end. - fold sides into the center and clip in place. Sew down each side and trim with pinking shears. - turn right side out and use chopsticks or another pointed tip to push corners out. Give another good press and add Kleenex! These are great gifts! Fun fact….people still use tissue! #simplyeilene

these are great but I always sew a clip at the end of mine so they can clip onto a backpack or key chain. they are great little fundraisers especially if you include the first pack of tissues

Oooo. Very cute. . I also thought your hand's reflection in the sewing machine was a separate hand and got jealous that you had a helper. 😅

how do you keep ALL your squares the same size? when I do this, the middle ones look funky because the outside ones have that 1/4 inch missing. love your video 💜
