@themortgagebawse: The likelihood that you are struggling financially is significantly higher if you bought new construction in 2022-2024 and used the lender to get the incentives. You were promised a refinance in 6 months weren’t you? Now you can’t even sell the house can you? It’s unfortunate but it’s part of the iOS and downs of real estate. Just hold on to the home a few more years and it will all work out I promise. #newconstruction #shortsale #foreclosures #firsttimehomebuyer
I just said this and this is most of the foreclosures I’m seeing.

I got a 600k home with and interest rate of 1.375% . One year after having my home i got hurt and my income went down a lot… and i still can afford my home… naca may be a pain but bc of them i can afford a home still with life lifing …..

People buying homes and selling in 2,3,4, years has never been a wise thing. Homeownership has always been a 5,10,15 year or other long term play.

Equity doesn’t matter when your mortgage payment is lower than rent would be. Also, financing incentives is stupid. Those ppl were already broke 😂

I lucked out bought my new construction December 22, 2022. Nobody was buying. Builder paid all my closing cost, 3.99% interest rate. Price was reduced. To $389,000 from $478,999 in July of the same year 💪🏾

I purchased a home in 2022 and me and my husband are not broke. We aren’t leaving. This is our forever home and interest rate is not crazy.

I’ve been saying for years that builders forcing buyers to use their lender to get upgrades, incentives and lower rates should have to follow the same laws for real estate agents and mortgage lenders. They found a loophole and people get taken advantage of sometimes. Don’t even start about the lower tax and insurance build in that hits the following year with an upside down escrow account. Then they call us to help and they are underwater. Just saying - I’ve seen it over and over! Make sure you can afford that home when the REAL taxes and insurance come due a year later.

I absolutely love your content. It’s so honest. I work in the default side of the mortgage industry and a lot of people who caught homes in that timeframe are in hot water.
