pro tip. get one of dem mesh hamper bags and throw all your socks in there. throw the bag in with the rest of your clothes. it will be so much easier to get out of the washer. if you have a front loading dryer, take them out of the baggie and dry the socks normally, but if your dryer is top load, you can just leave them in.

my mom got sick of asking me to grab stuff out of the washer (i’m significantly taller than her), so when it broke down, she got a front loader and is very happy she doesn’t need to do a handstand in the washer anymore
