I've lived here since 1996 and have been commuting my metro for almost that long and I've never realized those stripes corresponded to the lines. I guess I unconsciously assumed they were decorative and never paid any attention esp since I always knew which line I was at. It's not like the metro system has dozens or hundreds of lines to keep track of like Beijing, NYC or London.

They also used to have the exit streets on every sign when you get off the train for stations that have multiple exits. They changed that too… makes no sense

The amount of times im on a train and have no clue what station im at is crazy. You can’t understand the conductor on the mic, the signs are blocked or no where near my window. The lay out sucks
