been pouring for 50yrs, started with my father. I have a bowed bull float, still making thousands of dollars with it. when we are good, it doesn't matter. I don't have to screed. Im good enough with cumalong, it looks like I bull floated it. tell em 🐯, we are professionals. and I always say, I poured more than you walked on. 🤣

Don’t know jack about finishing concrete but I do however know a “little” about making a finished surface flat. If it’s perfectly flat and straight it might actually work against the user and make it harder to make the surface level because the edges would tend to dig in.

yes you are right I would straighten it out every other day. I will turn it upside down and hit it with the hammer on a curb from years of being used. it gets thin and that's what causes to curve. keep up the good work

The first thing I do when I buy a new bull float for exterior concrete is bow the float so it doesn’t leave marks while using for floors I have a bull float that’s not bent for a flat floors
