im on Kesimpta - told my neuro I wanted the biggest set of brakes he had on this thing and that was his first suggestion. 2 years on no side effects no new lesions and no having to sit in a hospital half the day. works for me.

My husband was diagnosed with RMS at 34 years old on October 2024, he’s on Briumvi and 🤞🏻 he’s been living normally. He lost feeling from his chest down, I mean nothing couldn’t walk. He had MS hug. Thankfully thanks for steroids he got feeling back pretty quickly and started feeling normal shortly after. Briumvi has been our savior, he’s still working construction.

I wasn’t given a choice at the beginning and was put on tysabri very quickly (even with being jcv positive) I chose to swap to kesimpta two years after starting tysabri because of the pml risk and also because I found going into hospital every 4 weeks exhausting and stressful. It was great to start with to be close to the team but finally being more stable it was the right choice for me to change. One year on Kesimpta and I’m loving it

I'm on Ocrevus, every 6 months, my next treatment will be sub cut, takes 10mins. My friend is on tysabri every 5 weeks, this wouldn't suit me. I am 2 hours each way from hospital and my husband has to drive me so he'd need time off too. I have zero side effects of Ocrevus. I don't sleep the night I get it and I wake flushed the next morning, that's the steroids. I haven't had sub cut yet so don't know if the steroids are the same. My decision was easy though, neurologist wasn't sure if I have ppms or rrms and Ocrevus is the only one offered for primary progressive. My relapse was very aggressive, cost me my job and left me with a disability, so I was very keen to get started.

I was on Tysabri for 8 years with no problem. I had to come off it so chose Briumvi. I’ve had my first 2 doses and can honestly say, I’ve felt so ill. Fatigue and migraines have honey a whole new level.

im on ocrevus injections and my ms is stable but atm im struggling I work in care. fatigue,tremours are bad pain etc so def try something that has the best reviews but not all fits all you can only try, i started on plegridy and that was good but my wbc didn't like it.

Tysabri was amazing for me! JCV levels got too high and I had to come off it. I miss it. Ocrevus took a lot of my mobility. I had A relapse every 4 months on O. I am now on Kesimpta. No relapse, but I feel like Tysabri was the best. My physician called it the Cadillac of MS treatments.

I have been on Keisempta and Ocrevus and they have both been okay but Keisempta made me more fatigued than I was with just the MS.

It’s such a hard decision this was me 6 years ago iv been on copaxone tecfideria and now ocrevus I do get a lot of infection on ocrevus im over due my infusion at the moment as been ill but I got to get it soon as my body has been playing lots of tricks on me for the past month good luck with your treatment 👍😊

I only entertained ocrevus & Kesimpta so can’t comment on these. Efficacy + lifestyle led me to Kesimpta. It’s truly got to be what will be best for you but sure someone else can share

Dx in 01/26. I have been on Tysabri since 03/26. It took about 5 infusions for me to feel a difference. I was very sick. Most days I forget I have MS. I know it’s different for everyone. I don’t mind a one hour infusion every 4 weeks. Best of luck!

I was diagnosed with highly active RRMS at the end of November last year. I had been relapsing since May and unfortunately went into another relapse in January before starting Tyruko in March. But since middle of May I have been stable 🥹. I personally enjoy infusion day, my partner and I go for a nice breakfast first and my infusion team are so lovely. Good luck with deciding!

I had the choice of mavenclad, briumvi, ocrevus & Kesimpta. Mine was very aggressive too and needed the highest efficacy. Tysabri wasn’t even an option as my neuro is concerned about PML so it’s a last resort really. I’ve been on Kesimpta since February, no complaints at all ☺️and being able to do it myself at home made it the most appealing for me.

Tysabri has been an absolute god send to me, I have highly active MS I had lost my vision in my right eye, my balance all good now just so tired 😴 do what you believe will be best for you! I haven’t had one relapse since and I’m coming up to a year diagnosis next month, wishing you well Ryan 🫶🏻

Pick one asap because you might pick the one the research tells you to do but might not work for you. I’ve gone with Ocrevus as being the highest efficacy. Started, it works, so far, so good.

It does depend on your neurologist. The drugs are not totally interchangeable. I am on Ponvory which is excellent. There are lots of options. I wish you luck.

I have been on tysabri since 2021 following a severe 1st relapse at 16 which needed a high efficient treatment imminently and never had major side effects, this has kept me stable for all these years. i used to have tysabri via IV but went to subcutaneous as it worked better for me and its a much quicker process! the subcutaneous injections take less than 5/10 mins. i will soon be having my subcutaneous injections delivered to home via courier enabling so much more freedom and time due to not having to engage at the hospital/ time . i have not had any major side effects and have always been JC negative

I was on tysabri for years but I'm JC positive so I had to stop it, real shame because it was working really well. plus I loved getting my infusions, staff were fantastic at my local hospital and it's a bit of quiet time. good luck

I was diagnosed a month ago and start Briumvi this Wednesday. My neurologist chose Briumvi for me, I’m also JCV positive. I’m terrified for the first infusion but I’m hopeful as it seems like the first is the worse and then you get as much of a “break” as you can with MS for 5 1/2 weeks. It’s a snowflake disease so everyone’s different which is one of the hardest parts. I hope you find the best route for you!

This is why I went for Mavenclad for my first line treatment & have been 'stable' for 5 years. I have just transitioned on to Kesimpta but that's due to symptom progression versus a relapse. I totally get you wanting a DMT that is least intrusive to the day to say.

Just remember It’s not a permanent choice. If your JCV is clear then Tysabri/Tyruko is a well proven option - it was magic for my daughter but she has JCV so has been switched to Kesimpta, she likes not having to go to hospital for infusions now . A lot of people seem to struggle with the last month between Ocrevus infusions. I haven’t seen much about Briumvi. But they all seem to work well , so you probably can’t make a wrong choice here.

I loved Tysabri but had to go off because of JC virus levels. I’m now on Kesimpta. That one is so easy and low side effects.
