Play again? Or better, get involved with a local club, If you can recognise disengagement you might be able to convince some to stick at it. I stopped at 16, swear I was a better in my 20's, decent club and we folded due to lack of players. Kids are crying out for role models.

You’ve dragged me into the same place with this one hahah. But all seriousness I completely get the same feelings. Do really get disappointed in myself for giving up on football after all the time and sacrifices I made to try make it. Was certain I would make it too until getting to youth and seeing levels along with confidence and mindset etc. luckily now find peace in the process of training combat sports but still doesn’t quite hit like football used to as a kid
