This honestly made me feel less alone in a way I didn’t expect. I know River isn’t neurodivergent (to my knowledge). But my 3yo is autistic, and this is what most events like this look like for him. Sometimes it breaks my heart feeling like he’s the only one missing out or having a tough time while all his peers just so easily do things. Seeing another little one have a hard time reminded me that he’s not alone in being a little kid who just can’t always do the “cute” version of things. I hope River has an easier time next time, but thank you for sharing the realness. It meant more than you probably realize💗

I took my 23 month old to her first ballet class and it was terrible, the tantrum lasted the entire class. Like you mentioned I couldn’t be upset because it was a crowded class. But man I left scared and never wanting to go back. But of course I only documented the pretty moments on Facebook and IG too lol

Thank you for this… took my son to this kids carnival where he was going to get to ride a little train and win prizes and do games. What did he do the entire time?? Scream and cry.

I have a three year old and she can act like this sometimes and I’ll feel embarrassed but for what?! Their toddlers and have big emotions! Thank you for keeping it real and honest ❤️❤️❤️

It’ll get better! My 3yo joined tball and he was the exact same… we’re on game 7 and he’s finallyyy excited to play and actually participate 😭 but even then most of the time he’s playing w dirt and not really listening so ITS ALL NORMAL 😭🩷

Honestly thank you for being realistic cuz it is discouraging when you see so many videos of little kids playing so good, throwing no fits and your own kid is doing the complete opposite 😩 My daughter doesn’t cry anymore, she just refuses to play so that’s fun🙃 so again thanx for being realistic. I can definitely relate

My husband and I are the coaches of my sons 4U team and he literally sat playing in the grass and throwing tantrums the whole game 😂😂 I was embarrassed 😅

We started my toddler in soccer at 2 years old and he was the only one crying for his “mommy” at his first game and didn’t want to participate at all 🤣🤣🤣 but give him time by the 3rd game he was participating 😅😅
