Step 4: Apply for a Type D Visa After receiving entry authorisation, apply for a Type D long-stay visa at the Luxembourg embassy or consulate in your country. Step 5: Travel to Luxembourg Once visa approval, you can travel to Luxembourg. Step 6: Register at the Local Commune After arrival, you must declare your arrival and register at your local commune (city office) within 3 working days. Step 7: Complete Medical Examination If you plan to stay for more than 3 months, you must undergo a medical check-up with an approved doctor in Luxembourg.
