@kittenpopeck: When you basically live in the NICU for months, the nurses and staff become such a huge part of your everyday life. 🤍 You’re allowed to be scared, exhausted, angry, emotional and advocate HARD for your baby — but kindness goes such a long way. Learn their names. Talk to them. Thank them. Build relationships with the people spending 12-hour shifts caring for the most important person in your world. Some of the nurses who cared for Roary during those three months will forever be a part of her story, and I’ll never forget the people who loved on my baby when I couldn’t be there. 🥹 Be good to your NICU staff.
