@drlisaalvarezholland: Would you apply this to the entire flip of US healthcare from an industry with a product of restored health into an insurance industry driven market of repeat customers of disease management and injury repair and rehab? At this point the efficiency metrics don’t even include patient outcomes as part of the math, just the costs of facility, equipment and cost of employees ( aka providers). Adding AI into overseeing those metrics will add another intermediary btw the person with a health decline and providers delivering the eval and care.

Well, honestly, you should include social media as it is the direct problem that is going on in this sort of scenario. A lot of it is the fact that people spend more time on their phones than actually thinking through the problems as honestly it’s the only way a lot of people can make money now, babe.

The immediate example that came to my mind was A Few Good Men. The ending specifically when the two soldiers realize that following orders was so ingrained as the “right thing” to do that it had them acting against their own morality.
