That's exactly the problem with the Tcg. Me and some friends started a national Pokédex binder, and we just put the cards in we like. And we don't care, if it's a common or something else. If we like the Artwork, it goes into the binder.

i hate ppl who only care abt the money, sure i have a couple cards that are worth 50$ or more, but the tcg is my favorite part of the cards, i just unfortunately have nobody to play with, and I can't find any tcg events in my area to join

I used to collect the cards, but not anymore. Mainly because, like you said, all people care about is how much they’re worth. Nobody is actually a collector anymore. Just rip a pack open, toss what’s worthless, sell the big ones
