I think this all traces back to corporate arrogance since Xbox was practically a dead brand so PS found hubris and started thinking they could push unpopular policies. Ever since HQ moved to America it’s been downhill for PS. PlayStation isn’t making good enough games to push these unpopular policies on their customers and come away unscathed. I bought 37 physical PS4 games, but only 15 PS5 games because barely any games have been worth owning. There’s a reason AstroBot won GOTY. It was made by the Japanese team. It’s time to pull the plug on the American headquarters, Sony. Japan is hungrier and more capable of delivering for your audience. Separately, Wolverine cost 300M to make and it needs to sell 4.28 million copies just to break even. It looks like it was either made by Insomniac’s B team or Insomniac lost all their talent in staff turnover. It’s sad when you go to GameStop and Wolverine is being marketed like it’s a top tier game when it’s like a McDonald’s Happy meal.
