@me_shelbyj: Pony Express Gravel – Lucky 13 🐎 Started the morning in torrential rain that lasted for hours. The gravel turned soft, the winds were wicked, and somehow there were 11 segmented climbs waiting for us. 😂 My Giro gravel shoes did a great job keeping the water out… until they didn’t. Then they did an even better job keeping the water IN. Waterlogged for miles. 😭 Met some familiar faces, rode with some great people, and embraced every bit of the suffering. 63.84 miles. 3,468 ft of climbing. 5+ hours.
