I understand supporting servers. But when the service is giving 5/10 and that 20% is already added… ummmm, yeah. We need to talk. 😂 And let’s be honest Black folks already have a complicated relationship with tipping culture. Sometimes we’re trying to support the staff, enjoy our meal, and still stay within budget. Now we’re expected to automatically add 20% before we even decide how the service was? 🤔 I’m not saying don’t tip. I’m saying make the charges clear, let people know upfront, and make the service match the expectation.
