hunter Schafer was breaking down her experiences with gender, infact a lot of her notes are very similar to radical feminist theory. she talks about how she wanted to be dominated by men and how she associated that with her gender, Andrea Dworkin actually wrote this in one of her books “a woman experiences the masochistic pleasure of her own negation which is perversely articulated as the fulfillment of her femininity”, Hunter Schafer simply did what any women should do, break down WHY we feel that way, and how we should move forward away from it, to achieve liberation.

unfortunately i totatally get it. its super problematic and i despise it. for me it was a Trauma reaponse so i have kind accepted that my relationship with my sexuality wont be healthy (at least for a while). lets not judge it.

was about how misogyny influenced the formation of her sexual and gender identity. While it's bound to be outdated by now, and I found a lot of the points to be unsettling, I was actually really interested by her introspectiveness and how she's come to undo her "sexual brainwashing" so that her identity is poisoned by the need to be humiliated/validated by men. Lots of people on Twitter (mostly radfems, not surprisingly), were pretty damn mad about it, and the only thing they really took from it was "Oh, Hunter's a misogynistic fetishist," but what I see is someone genuinely trying to heal and wishing that misogyny especially in a sexual context wouldn't have to be such a common experience in women.
