Over the last 30 years many fruits and berries have been selectively bred or genetically modified for yield over quality. Strawberries were red all the way through and peaches were so soft it was hard to eat them without bruising them, not crunchy like they are now

This is so misleading, theres 100s of varieties of strawberries. ive had plenty strawberries that look both ways red on the inside and white on the inside.
