cant wait for the 2 week period after deadlock releases where everyone calls it "the new overwatch" or "the rivals killer", everyone makes their one 20 minute sponsored video on it, then 70% of the players go back to overwatch or rivals

Literally forgot there are this many people that don’t see the 1000s of deadlock posts videos artwork and streams that happen every day, since I started playing there hasn’t been a single day where I haven’t seen content for the game.

I think deadlock is more comparable to league and stadium so i’m not sure that it’s going to take over the hero shooter genre

Deadlocks skill ceiling is just way too damn high for it to ever really take off… itll just repeat itself like it did when people got access to it. It will pop off for a short bit, but then the player base will nose dive fast
