Prosecutors say former attorney Matthew Exton intended to carry out a "public execution" in a restaurant, but the gun didn't fire because the safety was still on. Before the man could try again, a waiter tackled him and others in the restaurant stepped in to subdue him. Exton has been convicted of attempted murder and is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.
