I’ve have had multiple, and I do mean multiple packages that have a delivery confirmation for an address on my route, but the address on the label for a completely different address in a different state. That’s because sellers are re using those labels in for in order to avoid to pay the shipping fee and use the same label for two completely different packages.

So my scanner will say I have packages I don’t. Some packages will say out for delivery but not be anywhere nearby. It happens to my own packages too.

put for delivery just means a tag on one of those boxes with your package in it was scanned and supposed to be taken to the post office but the plant decided they didn't feel like sending it

You’re ridiculous, those packages are usually dead mail, unclaimed or people who moved and never put in a forward. Your “out for delivery” is probably coming from Amazon or UPS.
