@avenwife: Capitano, also known as "The Captain" and by his personal name Thrain, is the First of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. He is a man from Khaenri'ah who served as a high ranking knight and Commander until the fall of the kingdom during the Cataclysm 500 years ago, after which he was placed under a curse of immortality by Ronova. Sometime afterwards, he joined the Fatui in Snezhnaya as a Harbinger, becoming famed for his great strength and integrity. In Natlan, he opposed Mavuika's plans to fight against the Abyss, seeing them as hopeless, and instead sought to save the nation through alternate means. After failing to seize the Pyro Gnosis by force, he began to pursue his goals covertly with the support of Ororon, and even attempted to enlist the Traveler to his side, but was later convinced to join forces with Mavuika. Following Gosoythoth's defeat, Capitano sacrificed himself in place of Mavuika's death by merging his existence to Yohualtecuhtin, Lord of the Night, supplying her with eternal life to repair Natlan's Ley Lines.
