Two Florida sisters were kidnapped after being groomed for months by someone on Roblox, according to police. Investigators say Hser Mu Lah Say, 19, began messaging the girls from his home in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2025. He would chat with the girls, ages 12 and 15, on the gaming platform Roblox and later Snapchat. Lah Say allegedly groomed the victims for several months, at one point even sending food deliveries to their home in Indiantown, FL. Police say Lah Say left Omaha on January 30 and drove 23 hours straight until he arrived in Indiantown. The girls were initially supposed to meet Lah Say at Big Mound Park near their home in Tampa on Saturday morning, but were stopped by a family member and punished for an unrelated reason. As punishment, the family took the girls' cell phones. The girls were reported missing around 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31. When deputies responded to the home at 8 p.m., they searched the sisters' phones, laptop and iPad. The Snapchat app had been deleted, but detectives reloaded the software and discovered a thread of messages detailing Lah Say’s plan to pick up the girls and take them out of the state. Police and other agencies tracked Lah Say’s likely route back to Nebraska, alerting agencies along the Interstate 75 corridor.
