@brookieyancey: I’ve always hated growing up. Every birthday feels like childhood getting a little farther away, and turning 21 makes adulthood feel more real than ever. But I’m learning that growing up doesn’t mean leaving the little girl I was behind. It means becoming the woman she needed, carrying her dreams with me, and still letting her believe in that whimsy, even if that means throwing a princess party at 21. To any girl who is scared of getting older you don’t have to outgrow your softness, your imagination, or the things that bring you joy, and that growing older can be beautiful because you finally get to create the life your younger self dreamed about🧚🏼‍♀️🤍
