@nomsmag: 🍜 One of Vancouver’s most popular ramen shops is expanding yet again. We spotted signs for Ramen Danbo up in Yaletown. They are taking over the previous Mapo Pancake House unit, the Korean savoury pancake and makgeolli spot, closed here in November 2025 after three years. This would be Danbo's second shop downtown after Robson, and the fifth inside Vancouver, alongside Kitsilano, Kerrisdale and Main Street. Main Street soft opened in July. A separate format, Danbo Express, is due at UBC Village between late September and early October. Danbo works in Fukuoka-style tonkotsu, with thin Hakata noodles and a pork broth built to cling. The ordering sheet is the other signature, letting you set noodle firmness, broth richness, garlic and spice before anything hits the pot. No opening date, no hours, no pricing yet. 📍 1130 Mainland Street, Vancouver BC 📎 Full scoop L1nk in B1o #vancouverfood
