If you have a max phone or wish you had a iPad mini but couldn’t justify buying it, but also don’t really use the full capabilities of the cameras, and watch a lot of video on your mobile device this is for you.

I will absolutely get one just for work purposes alone. I’m constantly working from my phone, on an unexpected call with a colleague or client while away from my computer and swiping between documents & emails even on the max screen is annoying & inefficient af. The split screen & ability to pair splits & swipe between multiple paired & unpaired to see everything at the same time is a GAME CHANGER for me. It’s basically the equivalent of how annoying it is to work from my tiny MacBook screen alone while traveling vs at home with my dual monitors + laptop display all at once.

If they put the pro model cameras on the duo then it would make more sense to not have an iPad mini and an iPhone and just get the one thing. But until then, $2000 for 256gb is a friggin crime

As the simultaneous dual screen apps and use-cases emerge, it will become apparent “why” this phone. I don’t know what those will be, but that’s my hunch.

I don’t want an iPad and a phone separate, but I want an Apple Pencil, and I like to read, and the option for it to become a tablet is awesome so I think this phone (next year model) is for me.
