I think Jen sliding into bad behaviour and everyone immediately going "villan era Jen has returned" or "Jen is just like Barb" is incredibly unfair. Jen has so much to still work on yes, Obviously. But it feels like it entirely ignores all the work shes done

as someone who has a partner that was raised by a narcissistic parent, the child of said parent will usually fall back into bad habits when said parent is back in the picture in any sort of way as they immediately go back into their past damaged self due to it being their "normal". the healing process takes a long time and until its fully established, these setbacks will continue to happen.

I think Greg’s a fixer-when presented with a problem, he goes into fixer mode which can sometimes neglect the emotional part. Instead of being logical and trying to immediately figure out the problem, emotions need space to be felt first and then when things are calm, the problem can be worked on.

wait im kinda on jen’s side.. bc if he is so close with Lexie then how did he not clock this misunderstanding at all? Like no ‘oh my wife is applying for your job, can you put in a good word for her’? it IS weird that didn’t come up. Maybe i just feel bad that it could have been avoided her getting her hopes up so high
