usui isnt weird😭😭, yall just never actually watch the anime or read the manga. usui when he lifted up her skirt, never did it again, also wasnt canon, when she felt uncomfortable he immediately found ways to help and stop. when he kissed her and realized she was uncomfortable he kissed yukimura (which now that i see why that is wrong but the anime is rounded between them) , and he didnt kiss her again. he did not over push when he realized it was fucked up, now misaki is a man hater and the reason usui pushed her limits was to help her realize not all men were bad bc she was a HATER to ALL boys bc of her father leaving. ofc she is right wherw she wants to be , because usui showed her so much more life. usui is not the BEST person. but he is not a terrible person either. + also lets not forget how this anime was made at a time where kissing on someone was never recalled sa, if you watch bring it on the movie, they literally slapped her ass many times and grabbed her tits and she felt fine. SAME AS MISAKI, she still felt fine around usui. the time that anime was made it was very more normal i guess, dont get me wrong even boys had situations where it counts as sa but back then it didnt. yall never watch in any other pov. yall wanna nit pick every little shit.

Maid Sama is quite literally one of the least problematic anime when it comes to stuff like this. Why are anime like Mushoku Tensei and Rent-a Girlfriend getting more seasons and so much hype? 😭 And Seven Deadly Sins is way worse it has a bunch of predatory behavior. I’d say Maid Sama is pretty tame compared to all of those. And why does everybody have so much to say, but when it’s anime that are literally getting animated, like Dengeki Daisy, where the age gap is literally problematic, y’all don’t have anything to say? The anime community really picks and chooses what it cares about. Y’all are a bunch of hypocrites.

i really love maid sama but you’re so right about this 😭 i find it very strange that it took usui disgusting methods to catch misakis attention and at the same time misaki doesn’t do much to prevent it from happening. it does get better when misaki acknowledges usui as a friend and accepts his company more n more but i do agree that it starts off weird asf
