Hey girl! I’ve been doing sourdough, it doesn’t have to be as stressful as people act. When you discard, you don’t have to measure perfectly. Just discard half of what you have & feed the same amount. Also, you just have to lay the lid on top.. no paper towel or airtight. Keep is somewhere warm also. Hope this helps because I was STRESSING when I first started lol. 🫶

Girl, please change that jar. You don’t want to use paper towels. Just set the lid on top. Don’t screw it on tight and there’s no real need to weigh it when you’re feeding it people overcomplicate that just eyeball it when you’re starting sourdough like that you wouldn’t make sure you keep your jar, clean, scrape down the sides and change your jar out frequently at least once a week. I also recommend increasing your ratio to a one to two and yes, it will be liquidy after it feeds.
