Klintos :
In my opinion, as someone who has played this game for 9 years, solo is harder.
In 5-man, even in high ranks, you’ll only sometimes face genuinely good players. It also depends on whether you’ve been playing with the same four people for a while or you’re playing with them for the first time. If you already have synergy, your games become much more consistent. In solo queue, you’re relying on yourself while also carrying the burden of four random teammates who could either be good, decent, or completely ass. Your teammates usually aren’t in sync with you unless they’re individually good players, so you have to develop a lot more independence. You can also get matched against duos and trios, which may include Legends or lower-ranked players. The same applies to your own team because matchmaking tries to balance the teams. So, to summarize 5-man is harder when you’re facing an actually good coordinated team, or when you’re playing with four people you have no synergy with. But once you consistently play together and develop synergy, 5 man becomes more predictable and consistent.
Solo rank, on the other hand, is more inconsistent. You can face enemies with strong communication and synergy while your own teammates are complete strangers, meaning you have to adapt to every game and rely much more on your own ability to carry.
This is only my opinion you can refute it if you want.
