@valleymoms: Being in New York for the first time, during the 25th anniversary of 9/11, was something I will never forget. But experiencing it alongside one of my closest friends made it even more meaningful. She was here 25 years ago, just blocks from the World Trade Center, and walking beside her as she retraced the streets and paths she once walked was incredibly moving. To see New York through her eyes — to hear her memories, to walk in some of the same footsteps, and to witness her return to a city connected to such a defining moment in her life — is something I will carry with me. Two lives that had taken different paths somehow came together again at a moment in history that reminds us just how connected we all are. Twenty-five years later, there is still so much strength, resilience, love and humanity in this city.
