I walked to kindergarten at 5 years old without an adult. my mom justifies it by saying I was not alone I was with four other five-year-olds and we crossed two major streets but they had crossing guards.

When I was a baby, dad had to hit the breaks hard and I rolled off the front seat and hit my head on the empty brackets where the CB radio used to be. Because it was the early 70s.

Some of us did all of the things you just touched on. Change one thing though. We didn't get dropped at the pool. we walked there and some days were given no money worth exception to entry fee. But we did stay all day

Home alone, all summer with my siblings. Ages 14-4 and was told to clean the house, and have dinner cooked before, mom and dad got home for work. And they never called to check on us, we did whatever we wanted. Just as long as we had dinner cooked and the house cleaned before they got home.
