#2 should be used for AI data centers. City should invest into those. Offer electricity to big AI tech companies while collecting water to feed major city’s. The ocean offers so much salt water it wouldn’t cause a dent compared to our limited source of drinkable fresh water.

the problem with going nuclear on these ships is too many people are still scared of it. the cruiselines clientele would drop drastically if they went nuclear just because people are still too scared to be next to a reactor, regardless of how scientifically sound and safe that option may be
