copy pasting this comment I made from another video but: if I said it was because of misogyny, because trans men are viewed as confused afab tomboys by majority of the community the same way that non-binary was stereotyped to a green haired white afab with piercings, and they don't take our struggles seriously because they still view us as confused hormonal women, and they're upset with any permanence in our decision to move away from femininity?

Honestly. I only ever see trans women getting a lot of representation. It’s so rare to find any trans men representation that doesn’t just coddle us or say we’re automatically gay/femboys. Like trans men can be masculine and straight yk or like more than one gender. I love trans women but sometimes it’s just so annoying seeing how they get SO much more representation than us.

It's also called they'll bury me a woman which means that as a trans man even when dead our identity isn't respected. Trans women trying to take this song doesn't even make sense because them being buried as a woman would be their identity being respected in death, which is what the song is literally saying ISNT happening.

if you want transmasc/transman songs that aren't the soft voice/ukulele combo, I do recommend you check out Dopamine, they are a band from the UK and the frontman is a trans man (if not even the entire band, if I recall correctly, not 100% sure tho)
