If you ask who I am, my first answer is a 36 year old man of God but beyond that, who I am is actually a difficult question now—it is very hard to wrap my head around my life after my incident. Since August 15th, 2022, I am different. I went into Comfort Dental due to an infection and to get a tooth removed....I left with an infection still in my mouth, that tooth still in my mouth, and my tongue partially paralyzed. For four years I have been fighting a legal battle and I did not get any justice and I felt silenced. I feel confused, afraid, broken, and alone. I don't want to go outside nor be around anyone. I feel I have no voice. That is not who I was. I used to be the life of the party; if you were down and out, I would make you feel better. I used to sing, be joyful, and spread happiness. Now, constant fear and stress overtake me to the point where I have to focus on coping just to survive. I am sharing this so you can understand the deep impact this situation has had on my life and why this support is so vital. I am fundraising for the simple fact of needing assistance with my medical, psychological, judicial, and economical expenses relating to my incident. Also, I am making every penny count and focusing on essential needs in order to move for a fresh start outside of Colorado. My current fundraising goal is to raise $125,000 to help get everything moving forward and get help for myself. The funds would be used for the sole reasons listed above and to help myself and my family move to a more affordable state to continue seeking medical and research assistance.
