My daughter used to make me listen to her play every song on her Glo Worm before she’d go to sleep. I’d be standing crying in her doorway so exhausted. Anyway she’s 21 now and I miss those days 😭

I went on my first weekend girls trip since having kids last October and when I came home, the kids kept asking their dad to see "squeaky mouse" apparently, one of the ways to keep the kids from freaking out at bedtime that I was not there was to make the mouse cursor on his computer gigantic and a crazy color and started talking in a Mickey mouse voice to bring it to life. neither of us understand how this works to this day. but the girls trip was a success and they didn't have meltdowns so 💁🏼‍♀️

For us it was “ foot guy” my foot that was always misbehaving and leading me to walk into doorframes or making me run and skip . Foot guy was a celebrity, only came to life when he didn’t wanna sleep. We also had wormies , all our fingers had a characters. He knew all the lore to every finger . I miss those times
