most of them are from buenos aires, too. our school system teaches us, even to those of us who are not from buenos aires, that it's "the paris of latinamerica", reinforcing harmful stereotypes like the idea of "argentina=white". which is stupid because it was literally thoroughly planned and doesn't reflect the vast majority of our country

In a convo with my dad he told me that we are not latinos, but not with the argument of “we are European”, he meant the stereotype of latino. I got confused until I grew up and saw how other people from other countries sees us
