I couldn't afford tickets when my BF and I went to NY a few weeks ago, and he knew I was heartbroken, so he said we could do a Masquerade inspired date night, dress according to the dress code, and go to "a bar I found out is associated with Masquerade". I have been a Phantom fan since I was a little girl, I'd beg my mom to play "the mirror song" for me all the time. I got to see it live on Broadway before it closed down, thanks to my BF getting my mom and I tickets to go as a Christmas gift. So him planning the "themed" date night was so special to me, and I was so excited for this date night that despite not being subtle at all, I had absolutely no idea that he got tickets. 😭 we walked past the theater and I was like "oh cool, the bar is near the Masquerade building?" and he stopped and said "the bar is afterwards. I got tickets." Masquerade was so amazing, and I even got to keep the Phantom's letter to Carlotta! 😭 The chandelier actually falling in a smaller setting like Masquerade was so freakin' cool! what was your favorite part? at one point I was closest to the door leading to the next area, and the Phantom was leading us in, and he looked at me and did the "come hither" motion and my boyfriend had to be like "Lacie, control yourself, woman".

as someone who is a huge fan of the show, this is like top 5 experiences for me. I got to have interacts with the cast, they hand out each letter from the phantom, i genuinely had the best time. I would 100% go again

We went at the beginning of August and it was AMAZING my brothers are obsessed with phantom so their outfits were full costume. An unreal experience for sure, definitely recommend and would do it a million times
