So Japanese people are very spiritual and traditional, so it’s the weapon and technology that gets passed down in the family. The shimada brothers and kiriko acknowledge that the dragons and fox aren’t actual spirits, but ai her dad made, WHICH HAS BEEN SAID IN THE RECENT LORE. The new guy has technology that has the ability to take cells from other ppl to make him young, like a vampire, and I believe he’s African which is another race of people who are very spiritual and superstitious. So he’s gonna wanna look scary like a vampire. You know who’s a character you guys NEVER BRING UP; Zenyatta, he has a voice line interaction with mercy where she said “I refuse to believe your healing is magic” and he says something about the iris. Where’s the hate for that? You guys just hate on newer characters, specifically kiriko, even though kiriko saved Overwatch and the newest hero is the most interesting that’s been released in a while.

I think the Bat drones use some sort of cell recycling bio technology, which takes the organic matter of an individual and reuses the same organic material on doctrine to fix any decaying or damaged cells, kinda replacing the job of mitosis.
