i know some people say he wasn’t dramatic but the whole reason he is mad isn’t cause she didn’t tell him; it’s because Emily’s ‘death’ hurt Spencer so hard that he just wanted to relapse and ruin it all. and when it was so horrible and bad JJ just let him cry and in his mind; that means she would’ve just let him relapse and ruin his life

Jj was his safe space who he cried to and mourned with. But her mourning wasn’t real. So it feels like a backstab. He didn’t mourn with hotch and go to him crying in the night. And Emily was the one gone so he can’t be mad at her. He understood the reason as to why it happened. He didn’t like that jj was manipulating the feelings he had when she knew Emily was alive

Idc what anyone says trusting was the hardest thing in the world for Reid and he only ever fully trusted jj and she broke that. He never forgave it bc he never would’ve done it to her and she was the one person he thought would never betray him. It was expected from everyone else they still had that work ethic as a part of their relationship. He had two entirely separate connections with her. One through work and one through true connection. His reaction was valid. Especially because instead of asking or being empathetic she got mad at him for feeling. Bc him being mad at her was “unfair”. Them never coming back is from that right there
