BE KIND, this is my first go! 😅 I’ve had lots of people ask if you can do the stuff I’ve been doing recently in Procreate dreams. Those that have followed me for a while know I’m Procreate’s number 1 fan… I just could never get my head around animation and honestly, am just SO millennial that I default to sitting at a desk when I have to think about things my brain thinks is complicated. Now, that I have learned how things work and how to set things up I’m back on my iPad and am giving Dreams a shot: YAYS: It renders and exports insanely quick. There is no lag even when you add in music. The drawing stuff is super cool and feels very close to drawing directly in Procreate (this was all drawn in Dreams). Perform is amazing and made making the bugs move so quick. PLUS It’s a flat one time fee. It is made in Australia where the cool kids live. The negatives: No rigging yet so parts need to be keyframed individually which would be harder for complex creatures. No looping of sequences which means lots of duplicating and makes it hard when you want to make a small change to one asset you’ve used a thousand times in a document. No camera but that’s easy to fake unless you want to do 3D stuff. Always learning. #procreate #procreatedreams #animation #procreateanimation #ipadpro
