AGBOR — A remarkable and tragic story associated with the Agbor royal household has continued to attract attention in accounts of the kingdom's modern history. According to one version of the story, the Obi of Agbor was involved in an alleged attempt to rob a European visitor. The incident is said to have ended in gunfire, with the Obi reportedly being shot and killed by the white man.
