I live in Alaska & was visiting an extremely small town 3 hrs away. A girl from Tennessee who was visiting the same small town walked up to me & said “are you sassy??” I said “I sure am” she goes “omg I thought that was you, I’ve followed you for awhile & then I was sitting over here waiting to board the train scrolling & a video of yours popped up & I HAD to say hi” the internet is so crazy

Well you’re both in fashion so the world isn’t shrinking, YOU are just expanding… within a very niche industry. You guys like the same things therefore your fyp is going to be similar. Also your fyp shows you things you’re generally close in proximity to. For instance, I’m in AZ and my fyp throws AZ specific videos to me, but when I’m in NM or TX, I get local content too. Then eventually y’all will run in small circles. I have mutuals on here that showed up on my FYP because we both A-like the same things and B- live relatively close. Someone I was mutuals with and later met in person ended up living 5 minutes walking distance from my house 👍🏻

I flew out to LA for my first cruise. While in LA I met up with someone I've been mutuals with on here. While chatting we figured out that she was roommates with my old boss' daughter. I live in the midwest. And then 1st evening on the ship I was scrolling TT and came across a live of a couple that was on the same deck as me watching the ship sail out.

It's always been small - the internet is making it more available? or obvious? I don't know; but, everywhere I've been in the world pre-internet, I've had a 'small world' interactions. Post internet travels bring me double 'small world' events and I'm not a 'public person' or creator - simply a regular girl of the world.

I’m from the middle of N. Illinois. Now live in Florida. You’d be surprised how many people all over the world I’ve met traveling that randomly used to live in my small town. My Mom was in Vegas & her cabbie used to live there & they had a 20 min conversation about it. We were in Mexico when I was a teenager & I had someone yell my Mom & my name, it was someone we knew from church but had moved 5 years prior & we lost track of. Was in France talking to some people & a guy pops in next to me & asked if I went to so & so high school. Yeah he literally went to high school with me a year ahead & was there on vacation for a family wedding. Small world things happen when you go into the universe making connections.
