Making money is exciting. Keeping it? That's where men are separated from boys. Some people make GHS 10,000 in December and are broke by February. Not because the money was little. But because they couldn't keep the money. In our country, your money is never just your money. It belongs to your mother, your cousin, your friends who want to chill, your girlfriend who wants a new wig, and that old classmate who suddenly remembers you when your MoMo is fat. > If you cannot hold money, you cannot build wealth. It's that simple. Let me show you the 2 HOLES taking money away from every young Ghanaian. HOLE 1: THE FAMILY HOLE This one is emotional. You get GHS 3,000, and before you save, your junior brother needs school fees, your mother needs medicine, your uncle is calling from the village. You love them. So you send everything. And you tell yourself, God will provide. But listen, love without wisdom will make you poor forever. You cannot pour from an empty cup. If you finish all your money trying to rescue everybody, next month you will be the one calling for rescue. The rich in Ghana love their family too. But they have a rule. They have a FIXED percentage for family. Say 20%. Not 80%. Not everything. If you earn GHS 1,000, your family support is GHS 200. The day you exceed that, you are not being kind; you are being careless. HOLE 2: THE SMALL-SMALL HOLE — The GHS 5, GHS 10 spending This hole is silent. It doesn't look dangerous. GHS 5 for credit. GHS 10 for Malta. GHS 20 for a bet. GHS 15 delivery fee because you're too lazy to walk. You think it's nothing. But let's count. GHS 20 a day on unnecessary things is GHS 600 a month. That's GHS 7,200 a year. That is a plot of land in some parts of Kasoa. In Ghana, small-small is what kills big-big dreams. You cannot build wealth if your money has no curfew. So how do you build the skill of holding? You don't use willpower. Willpower fails. You use SYSTEMS. Do this tonight. I call it THE 3-POCKET SYSTEM: Go to your bank or MoMo and create 3 places immediately: Pocket 1: CHOP POCKET — 60% This is for rent, food, and transport. Your real life. Pocket 2: GROW POCKET — 30% You don't touch this one. Ever. This is your future house, your shop, your car. Lock it. Put it in a vault that takes 24 hours to withdraw. Make it hard to steal from yourself. Pocket 3: BLESS POCKET — 10% This is for family, for church, for giving. When this one finishes, your giving for the month is finished. You can say with a clean heart,

You can say with a clean heart, "I would love to help, but my Bless Pocket is empty till next month." No guilt. When money enters, split it immediately. Don't wait till month-end. Split it the same minute it enters. Because money that is not divided will be devoured. Your future is not in how much you make. It's in how much you keep. If you can hold GHS 500 out of GHS 1,000, you are richer than the man who makes GHS 10,000 and holds nothing. If you found value in this content, let me know by reacting to it.
