Everyone needs to stop assuming that a special needs person plugging their ears means they don’t like the noise. Many (such as in this case) do it because it’s a stim. They like the volume fluctuations or even the physical feeling of plugging their ears. It does not always mean the music is too loud. Perhaps trust that these people who raised him are well aware of his needs and stims. :)

In my area, they have a free night every month for all the agencies and group homes to bring their clients with special needs. It’s packed! So cool.
