My neighbour still burns along the corridor and now she moved to the staircase. I took photo showing the big fire while the incense papers were burning sent it to town council and they ignored my email even when I asked if fire spreads to other units including mine, would the culprit compensate. Several times I showed them the photos of her incense bucket permanently placed outside my unit and yet they did nothing - just keep ignoring my emails

This is why burning offering should be like in a dedicated spot, or a spot that is not prone to catch fire or to be interrupted by animals/passer-bys.

I think the Town Council should adopt a "permit to burn" policy and charge an amount, with a refundable deposit, for anyone who wants to practice this tradition. Deposit should be refunded ONLY AFTER inspection of the area used. Also, issue a fine for all those who malpractice or defy the rules and regulations.

did the flames that is lid and unsupervised get blown by the strong wind spreading to the grass even if trimed, thats why rules are place to not have any flames left unguarded
