@gabrielecorno9: While walking down the stairs in his apartment building, a man found a Jack Russell Terrier sitting outside the door of tenants who ( as far as he knew ) had moved out. After realizing the dog had been abandoned by its owners, left behind like unwanted debris from a botched move, he took the animal in, caring for it and helping it overcome its emotional distress. He named the dog Chance. Over time, Chance learned to trust his new owner and find comfort in his presence, becoming a beloved companion to the entire household. Abandonment breeds confusion, but through constant, caring companionship, the dog learned that he could once again trust the humans who had cast him aside.
