And that’s why you don’t use 0w-20 oil. Have used 5w-30 on every Audi and VW in my shop, every 5k miles, some having gone well over 100k on that oil spec, and no issues. Use a quality filter and quality 5w-30 oil and those issues are basically gone. 2.0T for instance (ea888 all gens) used 5w-30. No oil consumption issues. Incredibly far fewer valve train issues. Timing chains lasting to the 100k mark without setting the timing codes, aka, timing chain stretch. Cleaner internal engine components. My own 2018 Tigua DGUA 2.0T gas have been doing the same for well over 60k, now having 112k on vehicle, with no chain stretch, no valve train noises or issues, no oil consumption, and runs way better than with 0w-20. Every 5k miles. Gas mileage is the same. Maybe slightly higher, roughly 32-34 mpg, even with all wheel drive.

Lack of maintenance rockers rollers have failed extremely common on them engines. For. Change them in time it will eat your cams apart. Done over 6 of these with out engine coming out

wonder why my sq5 2015 keeps shuddering when I downshift from 2nd to first and also in reverse. but feels fine when running through the gears on the motorway . its not electircal as ive done a test on it and no warning lights . im just waiting for it to go 😳

hmmm my rs5 lasted 180k miles no issues. The problem is people are to lazy to do preventive maintenance. Same thing with my new daily rs3 always always stay ontop of preventive maintenance
