Onesopinion :

This goes way back to a term coined by automotive manufacturers called: "Planned Obsolescence." People l9ved there vehicles and they waz reliable. so sales started tanking. So manufacturers started redesigning cars and adding new features in order to entice people to biy new cars. it worked. Now Google Planned Obsolescence and scroll to the variety section and read about "Contrived Durability." Manufacturers now build cars to be disposable only lasting 10-20 yrs max. and how junkyard destroy old cars so you dont have parts.
