The very first time i went to interview for a nanny job i clocked with in 10 seconds that the baby need a helmet BAD. Told them asap. He got the helmet but the declined the second one bc they thought it was okay…. He deff needed the second one.

I was babysitting a foster kid for my aunt and I noticed that the kid would shake, shudder, and spasm almost like someone with turrets. i told my aunt and she went and got him checked for it, I was right.

Noticed a huge difference in a kid when I didn’t give him foods with red dye- they completely cut it from his diet and he’s a different kid now

i still hear the high pitch electrical socket noises. sometimes i hear the sonar used to deter birds; my costco uses one and it’s unbearable for me to be out at the food court

Im the toddler with the high pitched noise. When I visited my parents I would be overstimulated within an hour. Blamed old family dynamics getting us all in bad moods and having me cry. Turns out their old dvd player whistled this high pitched sound 24/7. Didn’t notice cause they always have the telly and radio on. The cat avoided it too .

I was a daycare provider for 15 years. I took in a little girl who was significantly delayed - but her parents kept brushing it off- 18months and she couldn’t sit by herself, walk, hold items etc . They finally took her for testing and found that she had cerebral palsy. She’s 16 now and has an educational assistant , but she can talk, walk, and do things on her own but she will always be dependent on others

i was babysitting my 1 day nephew when my sis had c section. the baby smelt strange, i opened his dress and saw the umbelical caord was limp l , sticky and smelt awefull. i told the nurse, she sent a chil specialist. and my nephew happend to have an infected cord. and thus got antibiotic injections. my mom was with the baby , the staff changed the baby daipers. but everybody some how missed it.

it was at daycare and I was the new educator in Quebec so are first language is french, a toddler never listened any consign. one day, when is mom came for him, she began to speak only in English to the kids, after speaking with the mom I realised why the kid never listen the consign and it was because he didn't understand french and only English any either educator new and her sister was also at the daycare and was older
